As part of our EO Leaders Connect and Grow series we are rolling out yet another fantastic workshop exclusively for you! Tim Falkenhagen will be introducing yet another headliner - Dr. Dan Tomasulo!
Everyone knows that success in life requires hard work and dedication. But what if something else could help you achieve your goals? Psychological capital is the positive psychological state of mind that allows individuals to thrive in facing challenges and adversity. It is a source of strength and resilience that can be harnessed to overcome obstacles and achieve success.
Psychological capital has four key components: Hope Empowerment (self-efficacy), Resilience, and Optimism. Collectively known as HERO. Each of these has been shown to contribute to individual and organizational success:
- Hope is the belief that the desired outcome is possible and that one has the resources to achieve it.
- Empowerment is the belief that one can successfully meet the demands of a situation.
- Resilience is the ability to not only bounce back from setbacks and adversity—but to bounce forward.
- Optimism is the belief that good things will happen and that any setbacks will be temporary.
This workshop will demonstrate how to cultivate each of the four components with distinct actionable takeaways.
