Join our "in the Boardroom" for breakfast with Louise Wilson, founder of Abundance, one of the pioneers of consumer investment into sustainable initiatives and projects. She started Abundance, a B-corp, 11 years ago. Listen to her entrepreneurial journey with Abundance and her history before that. As usual, this will be an intimate and interactive session, in-person only and limited to 10 attendees, at the penthouse of Conrad London St James.

Abundance has launched fund-raisings for around 50 businesses and councils, and raised over £115m, and was the first crowdfunding platform to offer both an ISA and a pension (SIPP) product.

Most of Abundance’s projects have been in the renewable energy and circular economy but new sectors include EV charging infrastructure and sustainable food. Abundance has also launched 2 local authority-issued bonds designed to support councils in their climate emergency and Net Zero plans, with many more planned to coincide with COP26 in November 2021.

Before Abundance, Louise was Head of Equity Capital Markets at UBS Investment Bank. Louise is on the Advisory Board of Imperial College’s Centre for Climate Finance & Investment; of BrightBlue, an independent thinktank which has Clean Environment as one of its areas of interest; and of Stratiphy, a start-up which is focused on giving access to institutional investing tools to retail investors, with a sustainable objective. She has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Edinburgh.
